The ‘Gamec Exhibitions 2016’ is the app for visiting the three new exhibitions at the Gamec

Now the curtain has closed on the retrospective exhibition dedicated to Malevič, the GAMeC - Modern and contemporary art gallery in Bergamo, will host three new exhibitions “Atlas of images and forms - the new donations for the Gamec” open from the 19th of February and the solo shows of two American artists exhibiting for the first time in an Italian institution: Ryan McGinley with “The Four Seasons” and Rashid Johnson with “Reasons", both scheduled from 19 February to 15 May 2016.

Based on the success of the app and the video guides produced for the Malevič exhibition, we have been asked to produce the devices for these new showings: 40 audio guides in Italian and English and a free app for IOS and Android.

“Atlas of images and forms" is a collection of 17 artists whose works have recently been acquired by the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary art in Bergamo and that can be visited until the 27th March.

At the same time the two exhibitions by Ryan McGinley and Rashid Johnson will be showing. The exhibition of the photographer McGinley «The four seasons» will be set up in four different rooms, each of which dedicated to  a season and accompanied by the virtual rhythm of the music of Vivaldi - The four seasons - and in which, explains the curator Stefano Raimondi, horizons, colours, musicality and different atmospheres all blend, all different but connected one to the other”.

A different impact is created by the works of the afro American artist Rashid, presented in “Reasons” carried out using different materials and techniques, swinging from paintings to sculptures, up to installations and video productions. All elements with a strong connection to the African element of American society from its ethnic origins to the more modern imprint.

The app to visit the new exhibition is called Gamec Exhibitions 2016 and proposes the following:

-an audio tour of the 3 exhibitions with 22 listening points.

-the “Find “function to search for the listening points which interest you.

-the“ Photo taking” function to take your photos and share them on the social network.

A fascinating journey in which you can discover the new donations for the GAMeC, which derive from the careful artistic search of the museum, and immerse yourself in the suggestions of contemporary art, captured and interpreted by two protagonists of the American art scene.

The app is available free in Italian and English, on iTunes and Android.
